Soon I will have a potty trained child and I am SO SO excited and proud of her! She knows what the potty is for (and has for a long time) and goes when she's put on it. We just need to work on her getting herself there when she feels the need. But today we were at a friend's house and I took her to the bathroom with me and set her on the toilet (the grown-up full size toilet!). I held her over it (so she didn't fall in) and she went! YAY! that's a first for her!! Before this afternoon she'd only ever gone on her kid potty.
Yesterday, I think, (my days all blur together) she peed for the first time on the potty without a completely full bladder. And she's known the muscles to use to poo for months now.
We're well on the way. She's always real excited when she goes because she sees mom so extremely happy and excited for her!
