We were sitting there and she came over to me and blew on my arm, said, "Hot!", then fanned me with her hand! So funny!
Poor girl woke up today with a failed diaper and a bloody nose! But she's so sweet. It was a little after that that she was playing and I was, oh so tired, sitting on the couch with my head laying to the side. She got up and played in front of me so I had to turn my head to see her and she noticed and came over, gently grabbed my face and turned it so I'd be laying on the couch pillow again! Aww! I love her! She is so sweet and funny! I can't imagine life without her! Although.. I do miss the days when bedtime wasn't just before the sun rises.
Last night Lia bumped back her bedtime even more (!) and was still awake at 5:30!! Hopefully she goes to bed before that tonight! I'm super tired and have to take Efrain in to dialysis today. If she stays awake as long as last night she'll still be awake when we leave and will have to come along with us! Myabe if we keep bumping bedtime later and later eventually it will be at a 'normal' time. There have been a few freak days this last month or so that all of a sudden she woke up at 6 AM and was good for the day but that night/the next day go back to our ridiculous schedule.
I would wake her up early but I'm always SO exhausted that I don't wake up earlier than she does and sometimes it doesn't work anyway, she just goes back to sleep.
It got really bad when she she was sick and took two naps and then she got to where she wouldn't nap until really late (time for bed late) and I thought that maybe she'd sleep through the night but after 2 hours she was up and ready to go! She MUST nap. Because when she goes to sleep (no matter how late) she treats it as a nap! :( It makes for one really exhausted momma.
AWW! As I type this Lia's been sitting in her chair, eating multigrain cheerios. She finished the miniscule amount I gave her, drank the milk, and asked for more. (She won't accept more unless she's first drank the milk.) And this time she said PLEASE!! I've been working on that for a while. There were many times that because of her stubborness she didn't get any more because she wouldn't say please! I think it was because usually when people said please to her it meant that they were asking for something she had. So when I would say please for her to repeat it she thought I was trying to take something from her. Luckily for me she has picked up other things from just hearing us say them: "thank you", "excuse me", "bless you", etc.
