funny girl..

A few nights ago Lia was hanging out with her grandpa (velez). She had her snack cup with her and it was filled with the good stuff. (Earlier that night I put a little bit of apple jacks in there to coerce her to come with me, and also to make the car ride a lot more pleasant... it's rare, so she was super excited!) Anyhow, she must have taken a break from bouncing on their bed to snack. Grandpa later told us (while laughing) that Lia would eat all the apple jacks and make him eat the cheerios! (Smart girl!)

She really likes to share. If you ever sneak some of her snack she'll quit feeding herself and start feeding you (she puts it right into your mouth). She's so funny, she'll hold her arm up in the air and she'll move her head over to meet it half way and she'll squish her ear/jaw up against it. I'll try to get/find a picture of it so this makes more sense. she used to make this super cute sound (it was like 'oo' as in 'woo' but in the back of her throat and the pitch would go up higher at the end.) I think she makes a different sound now.

So funny! Just now as I was typing Lia was shredding a paper towel into little pieces. After each little piece she ripped off she held it up to her nose and 'blew' (I think she was actually sucking it in though). I love to see her doing things she learned on her own from watching us. Well I guess technically I did teach her last week but she hasn't done it since.
