Last year around this time I read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Like everyone else I know I quickly became engrossed in them. (YAY, turns out I'm not completely a non-reading loser.) I was so immersed in the story and loved it!
There were even times like when I barely cut my finger or when I was driving on a dark back road that I caught myself double checking my surroundings as if a vampire was going to get me! Silly, I know. THEN I was done, I'd finished all the books. What now?? I actually considered reading them again. That's a first! I probably will read them again at some point. About a month ago I almost did... until I decided that I needed to try to be a responsible adult, Lia deserves it that way. Success. Obsession diverted.
I'll be seeing New Moon in a few days (I'm missing the midnight showing tonight) hopefully it doesn't suck me back in.
