Velez Awesomeness (and sometimes not so awesome)

Just now I coughed a sad little pathetic 2 coughs and Lia looked up at me from my lap and copied me. (Haha!) What a bunch of sad sickies we are! Sickies?! yep, I really did just type that. I say silly things out loud but it's not until I type them that I really think about it, I guess.
Lia's fever hasn't been back today but now I'm sick. Hopefully mine is only a 24 hour thing too. It's been sooo long since I've been sick! Yesterday I taught Lia how to blow her nose but she seems to have forgotten. It was so cute though to see how blow when I held the tissue to her nose and ultra satisfying to know that I'm teaching her basic skills for life. It's going to be even more rewarding when this potty training stuff kicks in. Today she stolled into the bathroom and then a few minutes later I realized her diaper was warm.. had she gone in there because she needed to go?? Are my efforts paying off? Oh, it'll be so nice!
